Details about IBPS PO Exam Pattern

IBPS PO Preliminary exam

• This paper consists of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.
• 1 mark will be given for the each correct answer.
• 1 hour duration of time will be allowed for the exam.
• Total marks will be 100.

IBPS PO Main Exams

• Topics: Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) and Computer Knowledge
• 1 mark for every correct answer.
• Medium of Exam: English & Hindi
• Time allotted for each test: as per the questions

Important Information about IBPS

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection also abbreviated as IBPS was first started in 1975, is a recruitment body. The main purpose of this conduction body is to encourage the recruitment and placement of young graduates in public sector banks in India. Every year, IBPS conducts various recruitment exams in order to fill the various vacancies. With the release of the official notification of IBPS Recruitment, the whole procedure of selection starts. More than 20 lakh aspirants appear for the IBPS Bank examination every year. From which, eligible candidates got the appointment letters of the suitable jobs.

Further Procedure

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct the Common Recruitment Process in two stages. Candidates qualify the first round will be selected for the next education level that is main examination. After that, those contenders who will be qualified the written exams will have to undergo through the interview process based on bank. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100.
