Get Details of GATE Examination

• Course: M.Tech. /Ph.D. programme in IITs, IISc and various other institutions.
• Number of Papers: There are total 23 papers in GATE Notification. Candidates are allowed to appear in only one of the 23 papers.
• Mode of Examination: Candidates can apply only through online mode (CBT).
• Exam Duration: Duration of GATE Exam will be 3 hours.
• Number of Questions: There are in total 65 questions containing 100 marks.
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will get score according to MCQ and NAT questions will carry 1 or 2 marks in all papers
• Negative Marking: In GATE Examination, there will be deduction of 1/3 marks in every wrong attempt for the questions of1 mark.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2018) is an All-India examination which organizing in eight zones such as IISc, Bangalore and other seven IIT’s across the country.
