Staff Selection Commission is finally ready to conduct the CHSL Exam in order the fill the vacant posts of the LDC, DEO, Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, and Court Clerk. Aspirants who had earlier applied against the vacant positions mentioned above can now download their SSC CHSL Admit Card 2017, in order to appear in the examination. The commission has strictly announced that it is very important for the aspirants to get their Hall Ticket from the official website; else they won’t be allowed to sit for the examination. 

Steps to download the Admit Card

The aspirants can get their hall ticket of the SSC CHSL Exam, by following the simple steps given below:
  • First of all candidate need to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission which is ssc.nic.in
  • From the homepage, candidate needs to hit on the “Admit Card” tab which is present in the menu bar.
  • A new window will appear on your screen, from which candidate need to select the region.
  • Now in the details of the candidate titled window, enter your registration number, date of birth and hit on the “Submit” button.
  • As soon as hit on the submit button, your SSC CHSL Admit Card 2017, will appear on your screen. Download it and take print out of future reference.
  • In case if you forgot your registration number, then you can enter your name and date of birth and hit on the “Search Status” button.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern for Tier- 1

The exam of the SSC CHSL Tier- 1 exam will be 200 marks, which consist of the 50 marks questions from the subjects such as General Intelligence, English language (basic knowledge), Quantitative aptitude (basic arithmetic skills) and General awareness.  

SSC Tier 2 (Descriptive Type) Exam Pattern

The SSC Tier 2 exam will be a descriptive type exam which will be of 200 marks and the time duration given to the candidate to finish the examination is 2 hours.

SSC Tier III Exam Pattern

The Tier- 3 exam of the SSC CHSL, will have 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.

Documents required At the Time of Exam

The aspirants, who had downloaded their SSC CHSL Admit Card 2017, are also required to carry 3 current passport size photographs and any Photo ID which may be Voter’s ID, Driving license ID, Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Passport and ID card issued by the government or other institutions, at the time of the examination.

Important Dates

The SSC CHSL Exam will be going to held on Jan. 7, 2017, to Feb. 5, 2017. Thereby candidates are suggested to download their hall ticket as soon as possible.
