National Defense Academy is aimed to educate the Army officers who go through the most admirable NDA and CDS exams. Candidates planning to participate must register themselves by submitting NDA Application Form 2017.

Essential Eligibility Criteria for Registration of NDA

• The aspirants who want to register themselves for the Indian Armed Forces, via NDA and CDS, must be citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan migrant who came to India before the 01 January, 1962 with the purpose of eternally settling in India.
• Applying aspirants should be unmarried and note that only male aspirants are eligible to apply.
• The aspirants who have any of the permanent body tattoos on the inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand/ Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable. Only inner faces of forearm tattoos are accepted.

Essential Qualification 

The candidates who want to apply must have passed 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. 

Age Limit 

The aspirants, who are willing to fill the NDA Application Form 2017, must be born after 2nd July 1998 but not later than 1st July 2001. Note that the relaxation in the upper age will be given to the aspirants who belong to the reserved category. 

Application Fees Details 

Candidates who belongs to the General Category, need to pay Rs. 100/- as an application fee. Whereas the ones who belongs to the SC/ST category or are sons of JCOs/NCOs/Ors etc are exempted from paying of any application fee. 

Selection Process 

Selection panel of the organization will recruit the aspirants on the basis of the performance made by the aspirants in the Written Examination, and later on Intelligence and Personality Test followed by SSB Interview that will be conducted by UPSC. 

How to fill NDA Online Application Form?

• Firstly, candidates need to visit the official portal of the Union Public Service Commission that is www.upsconline.nic.in
• After reaching the home page, candidates need to hit on the “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC” link followed by “Press Here” link for Part I Registration in order to fill the NDA Application Form 2017.
• Now fill the application form by providing the complete details that are asked in form and then hit on the “Submit” tab and move to the Part II Registration by pressing “Press Here” link.
• Now fill the asked details in the form and again hit “Submit” button and take the print pot of the application form for future use.

Important Dates 

The UPSC is going to conduct the UPSC NDA/NA (I) Exam on 23^rd April, 2017. The candidates, who are willing to register themselves, must submit their application form before 10^th February, 2017.
